Community beyond school days.

When your child is enrolled in RootED Explore or Expand,

you receive access to all the fun extras included in being a RootED family.

Through various community-based extras, we focus on strengthening our community. Community is more than just the relationships built among children, it’s the bonds built between parents and caregivers.

  • “In The Field” Days - An expert from a particular field comes in and leads a class focused around their profession. From bee keepers to worm farmers, we give the kiddos the opportunity to learn about fields that are unique and exciting - straight from the source! Not only are these classes highly educational, they’re also a great way to expose children to fields they may not have known about otherwise. This sparks a curiosity that could lead them to a future career one day!

  • Field Trips - We love a good field trip here at RootED. These days act as a great way to give children a change of pace while also leading them to learn about new things. Some of our past trips include the zoo, a bakery day, a trip to a local coffee shop, hikes and more!

  • Community Days / Park Days - Most Fridays will have a community park day organized. This is not mandatory to attend but acts as a starting place for families to gather and connect while the kiddos do their own relationship building within the playground.

  • Craft Fairs - We lean into the entrepreneurial spirit by leading our kids through craft/bake fairs. Children get the opportunity to make/bake their own offerings, set up their booth, handle money (that is theirs entirely to keep) and learn communication skills. This has been a great way to learn life lessons on top of being such a proud moment for our kiddos.
