Nature Led; Community Driven
RootED Learning Collective was created to be a unique learning space for homeschooling families.
With nature leading our curriculum and community input fine-tuning it, we’ve taken the isolation out of homeschooling and applied the mindset of a village raising our children.
Learning Through Nature
Kids thrive outdoors. Sitting in a classroom doesn’t feel natural for their minds, bodies or souls.
We lead education through exploration and a hands-on approach. We’ve taken movement, paired it with an intentional nature based curriculum and set it in a beautiful garden setting - the perfect recipe for education that lasts.
Only The BEST
Miss Shay did her homework when it came time to choose curriculum for our kiddos!
She searched high and low until she found the perfect fit that made education feel fun, effortless and easy to incorporate into a nature based setting.
Multiple Subjects
RootED covers 4 incredibly important subjects split between 2 days.
Mondays we focus on teaching math and social studies.
Thursdays we focus on teaching science and English language arts.
We pride ourselves on teaching in a way that feels easy to follow for the younger preschool group but challenging enough for our older kiddos in grades 1-4.
You’ll find learning moments throughout our entire class time together. Through fun icebreaker activities and garden exploration, we do the most to make our time together very impactful.
My daughter and I are so grateful to be a part of Rooted!
It nurtures her sense of wonder in nature, inspires her curiosity in exploration, and fosters social bonds amongst children of all ages that get to learn out in the open together. How does it get any better than that?!
Well, by receiving guidance from incredible teachers, parents with a community focus and enveloped by the vibrancy of colors, sounds and textures that the outdoors offer us!
This program truly aligns with the values and vision that I have for her education and childhood. It is enriched with creativity, learning from experts in our community and propelling our kids to be self directed learners that will grow up with a variety of skills and knowledge that traditional schooling just can’t offer!
It truly is an inclusive village of families who want intentional and nourishing schooling as a collective, and we are fortunate to be a part of it.
